Lift Glow Skincare Treat

Every girl or woman wants to look beautiful in all stages of life, not only in her teen years. But many of them are unaware of the right products and skin care routines to maintain this beauty. But when you have all the right products in one place for all stages of life, you can maximize your results.

With all the products available in the market we don't know when to use cleanser, toner, astringent, serum or anti-aging products and creams in the right way and time and thus follow some horrible skin care habits.

Here we bring for you a very effective and helpful ‘The Skin Health Essentials’ that will make your skin care routine simpler not only in your 20s but in all the stages of life.

Lift Glow Skincare Treat

The Skin Health Essentials’ will make your skincare kit very inclusive and simple as you want.

While visiting a mall I got an offer on some skin care products in which I needed to select three of my choices. So I went with anti-aging cream, SPF 52 and a cleanser. But if I got the same choice when I was in my 20s I would have preferred a cleanser, toner and a good moisturizer.  The choice and needs vary with age.  Sticking with specific products will not work for you at all stages of life.

Your skincare kit deserves attention and a little care. Very personal and will be with you in the months to come. Its effects are noticeable every single day, even if they are not clear.

I am sure you don’t buy products with eye-catching packaging. You should check the formula and ingredients as your skin is not the testing laboratory for trial and error.

When choosing your product in the skincare world whether you are a beginner or a seasoned professional, you need to shop wisely in a financially sustainable way; that means you don't have to gorge on a 'luxury' then save for the 'best'. And on the other side, you should make sure you are investing in a good product rather than saving pennies.

With this, I can say think wisely and twice and invest in the middle of your routine where it is possible. And keep in mind to keep your products out of the bathroom at a normal temperature as bathrooms are too hot for them.

This article will help you out in investing in the right products, their uses and your savings on them. This article is devoted to your kit. Track these rules and you'll soon discover that you're not only making every last part of your product, but you'll find that you're getting benefits from it.

So here are some basics for all those people who are a fresh start and are not sure about their requirements.

The Early 20s – Teens

  •       An eye-makeup remover- you can easily get it from a chemist or a pharmacy brand and it’s not expensive either.  You can skip this if you don’t carry heavy makeup.
  •       A good cleanser- It can work as your eye-makeup remover too if you have a tight budget.  But this age group generally carries heavy makeup so ensure to remove it all properly.
  •       At this age acne and breakouts are very common so considering an acid product will be helpful to you. You can begin with a mild lactic or salicylic acid but not on an everyday basis. Glycolic is not essential at this stage.
  •       You can go with either a light hydrating lotion or a cream formula depending on your skin type.
  • SPF: Go with SPF 50 cream that suits and is comfortable on your skin protecting your skin from harmful UV rays. And if not SPF50 try to go minimum with SPF 30 and make sure to apply it regularly at this age. This will save your time and money in the coming years.

 ADD-ON

If you start with a good antioxidant vitamin C in your early 20s it will give you a good advantage in your coming year. Yet it is not very important for a teen.

The 20s and Mid 30s

  •       A good cleanser and an eye makeup remover.
  •       For morning and evening routines you need a light texture cleanser wherein you are not usually removing SPF or makeup.
  •       Acid toner- To keep your skin exfoliated use a gentle acid after your cleansing routine to ensure product penetration. You can go with glycolic acid here, nevertheless lactic and salicylic acids are still helpful.
  •       A good antioxidant serum with Vitamin c and Niacinamide are both fine options
  •       A multi-molecular weight hyaluronic acid serum will be your skin’s best friend as you are about to enter your 30s because your skin will gradually start to find it more demanding to retain oil and water.
  •       Eye product: This is necessary if you are exposed to the sun and wear glasses regularly. It is elective if the budget restricts you.
  •       A vitamin A /retinol product. This is not a worry if you are quite healthy and don’t bask/ smoke etc; nevertheless, if you are on the other side of your 30s you must go with a retinoid.
  •       Moisture suitable to your skin type.
  •       SPF. SPF is a must before you step down in the sun. Use SPF 50 or at least a minimum of SPF30.

Add-Ons

In winter you can apply light facial oil as per the requirement of the skin. In the morning or evening routine, you can apply a couple of drops under your moisturizer.

A hydrating hyaluronic-based facial mist will keep your hydration level on the crest in the skin with no added weight of a heavier cream.

The Late 30s and Stepping in 40s

  •   Cleanser or a good eye makeup remover is a must.
  •   A light texture cleanser for your morning or evening routine where you are not generally removing heavy makeup or SPF.
  •   Your kit should comprise Acids, Glycolic, lactic or PHA acids at this stage depending on your skin requirements.
  •   A hyaluronic-based facial mist is required at this stage as your skin finds it difficult to hold up moisture. So to maintain the balance of moisture in the skin you can use this spray. Always look for hyaluronic acid on the product before a buy
  •   You can blindly spend your money on a good antioxidant serum which contains vitamin C/ niacinamide/resveratrol and more and apply it on a daily basis.
  •   Trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL) is very common at this age. So using superior quality hyaluronic acid dose products will benefit you. Make sure you don’t go with cheap products that are not genuine.
  •   Facial oil will be your best friend at this age.
  •   Eye product is a must at this age. You can go with lighter products like light creams and gels. Make sure you are not opting for thick creams as they will make your eyes puffy.
  •   Retinol and Vitamin A are a necessity.
  •   Moisture suitable to your skin type.
  • Never forget to use SPF.

The 40s to 90s

  •       At this stage, you need a thick cream cleanser and a good eye makeup remover.
  •       For normally removing SPF and makeup you can opt for a light texture cleanser for your morning and evening routine.
  •       For the older skins Acids, Glycolic, lactic and PHA acids are best to use.
  •       To replace the lost moisture of skin a hyaluronic based facial mist is necessary at these ages.
  •       For crepey eyes, you can go with gels and light creams. Rich high creams are not good at an older age.
  •       Your skin cell turnover is very slow at this age so you can go with retinoid/Vitamin A.
  •       Facial oil will enhance the glow of the older face.
  •       Good antioxidant serum like before is still important at this stage too.
  •       The finest quality pigmentation serum product.
  •       You can go with moisture as per your skin type with a night cream that will be an added benefit to you.

Cleansers

The name itself gives an idea that it cleans dirt, and grime and helps to remove makeup from your skin. The cleanser is best chosen with your lifestyle in mind, while also paying attention to your skin concern.

Balms or oils

Useful for makeup and SPF removal these work best on oily/acne skin. You can use these for the first cleanse in the evening.

Creams

These are best for removing make-up and cleansing the skin and are suitable for all skin types.

Milk or lotion

Soft, runny, and easy to use traditionally used by French beauty houses, helps to get rid of makeup SPF and cleanse your skin deeply.

Gels

Gels are very popular among people with combination or oily skin types. Preferably used as a morning cleanse or a second cleanse in the evening.

Micellar Water

A liquid makeup remover is a mixture of oil and water used for removing makeup only to be used as a

first cleanse. Not beneficial for everyday use or for cleansing the skin.

In general, foaming washing-up liquid is not your cleanser. Foaming is not good for acne-prone skins.
